A season with art in focus

The first half of this year’s art season has come to an end in Istanbul with the closing of the 13th Istanbul Biennial. The city’s intense art program continues for another month, featuring new exhibition openings as well as Istanbul’s biggest art fair.

The eighth edition of Contemporary Istanbul will run on November 7-10 2013 at the Istanbul Convention and Exhibition Center and the Istanbul Congress Center. Featuring 110 galleries from 21 countries and approximately 650 artists, this year’s event is expected to be the largest to date.
